Thanks for your message!
We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Our junior section was founded in 2018 but in a short space of time it has grown substantially to over 250 junior members and the club is thriving. Offering hockey for girls and boys from age 5 upwards, we cater for beginners through to seasoned performance players.
Our junior teams play in the London Area junior setup (from U8 tournaments to regular 11-a-side U16 league matches, and everything in between).
We aim to foster an inclusive environment in which kids can learn and develop their skills, make new friends, understand the value of teamwork and, most importantly, have a lot of fun!
Lots of information is included below. Please email hohcpanthers@gmail.com if you would like to enquire about joining or if you have any further questions.
Please note that we are currently running a waiting list for new joiners for the 2026/27 season. This is to ensure that we do not become over-subscribed in any age group, and so that we can continue to offer safe hockey with the appropriate coaching ratios. We are regularly reviewing our membership numbers and do hope to offer spaces to new members as soon as possible - we don't like to keep people waiting!
Here are just some of the reasons we think you’ll love our junior hockey club:
The 2026/27 season starts on Sunday 13th September 2026 and runs through to the start of the school Easter holidays (with breaks for half terms and Christmas holidays). Ahead of that we will be holding an open club day on Sunday 6th September, which will include both our junior and senior sections, fun games, a BBQ and more. This is a great opportunity for new and prospective members to get a feel for the club, meet coaches and existing members, and try out a training session.
Training takes place on Sunday mornings at the following times:
Matches and tournaments also take place on Sundays and times vary. We also seek to run a separate summer term programme each year, which also takes place on Sunday mornings.Contact us for more information.
We are now able to offer additional weeknight training sessions for our U12 and U14 age groups. This takes place on Thursdays 16:45 - 18:00 and is aimed at those targeting performance level hockey. Please contact us for more information,
All Panthers training and home matches take place at our home ground, King’s Sport Ground, in the heart of Honor Oak Park.
We operate a convenient all-in membership which covers all training and matches/tournaments.
The fee covers the whole main season from September through to the Easter holidays. Additional Thursday training and the summer term programme are charged separately.
Please note that junior members who are also playing in our senior sides will only pay once, and will not be expected to pay senior club membership on top.
We are able to offer all new members a free, no commitment taster session before they decide whether to join. In order to manage our numbers in the simplest way possible and reduce admin on club volunteers, we do ask that people secure their place by paying the membership fee in Teamo, but if they do not want to carry on after the trial session we will refund this in full.
We are not able to offer a “pay as you go” basis as the administration involved is so time-consuming and we are a volunteer-based organisation. However, we do not want affordability to be a barrier to participation so if parents would like to discuss alternative payment arrangements, including bursaries, we are very open to a conversation.
Please email hohcpanthers@gmail.com for further information.
Junior members do not need to have their own hockey stick as the club supplies playing equipment. All participants will need to wear shin pads. We strongly recommend the use of gum shields.
Who doesn’t love a bit of stash?! Hoodies, playing kit and training kit are supplied by Tacklebag and are available to purchase via our webshop - click below to visit.
Please note that all players participating in matches/tournaments should have a playing top and socks. We are able to offer assitance to cover kit costs in some instances - please email hohcpanthers@gmail.com to discuss.
All sessions are overseen by fully qualified and DBS checked head coaches, who are ably supported by a cast of assistant coaches.
We’re a volunteer-run club so we always appreciate any offers of support from parents who can commit a little time to help out, be that with coaching on a Sunday morning or assistance with administration, fundraising etc. For those that are able to commit to regular volunteering we offer a discount on subs (up to 100%).
If you’re able to volunteer on some Sundays, please email hohcpanthers@gmail.com for more information.
We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
